galleries and boutiques, tranquil tropical vistas of unimaginable beauty, tiny villages forgotten by time, and sacred areas pulsating with spiritual energy.
December 3: Depart San Francisco, Los Angeles, or JFK for a flight to
Singapore. Flights from your nearest airport
to one of these gateways can be purchased at our reduced group rates. (Slight
extra charge
for leaving from JFK.) December 4 Arrive late in the evening in Singapore for an overnight
rest at the superb Park Plaza Royal Hotel. December 5 Free day in Singapore to catch up on sleep after your
international flight, sightsee in one of the
most modern and culturally diverse cities in Asia, or shop for amazing bargains
on the latest
in shoes, clothing, and electronics. 5
PM welcome gathering with Jana and Greg. December 6 Visit the world famous Singapore Zoo, take a guided boat
trip through Singapore’s downtown canal system, or shop till you
drop. We’ll depart Singapore at day’s end for a flight to Depasar,
Bali. We’ll take a bus to our Lovina beach hotel for 3 nights with breakfast
included. Lovina is set
on north Bali, overlooking the dramatic peak of Mt. Semeru, East Java. December 7 Lovina is known for its enthusiastic and plentiful dolphin
population. Start your day with our morning dolphin tour. December 8 Free day to explore, snorkel, dive, read, doze in the sun,
or enjoy the $8 beach massages. December 9 Transfer from Lovina to Singaraja with visit to Sangsit
Temple and continue to the mountain village of Kintamani with its
cool breeze and breathtaking vista of still active Mt. Batur and its crater lake. Our trip to Ubud
will take you through rural villages and vast areas of beautifull terraced
rice fields at Tegallalang. We’ll also visit the 17th century holy temple at
Sebatu. Check
in at our beautiful boutique hotel in Ubud for 7 nights with breakfast
included. December 10 Free day to explore, go river rafting, bicycle down a volcano,
visit galleries, or shop in the charming artistic boutiques of
Ubud. This evening: Share amusical interlude of laughing, learning,
listening, and singing with Jana and Greg. December 11 Half day Bali tour: Royal Temple, Monkey Forest, and Tanah
Lot. December 12 Free day to wander, visit museums and artisans. December 13 Orphanage visit. December 14 Village walk, children’s dance school visit. December 15 Free day and closing celebration dinner. December 16 Depart for home. December 17 Arrive home happy and and full of wonderful memories and
